Welcome!

Welcome to our latest residential school trip blog!

It’s June so that means it’s the turn of Year 6. As you know, in 2015 we are once again privileged and very thankful to the Trustees of the Shrine in Assisi, Italy, to be able to accompany the children on a pilgrimage there. Miss Davis is our intrepid trip leader!

We will have with us an iPod Touch per group which we hope to use to document some of the learning and fun that takes place during this special week. The children will take photographs, some short videos, and will write blog posts whenever we can find the time, to give everyone at school and at home a taste of what goes on.

We encourage you to post your own comments on any or all of the posts which we will share with the children in the evenings when we can.

Please note that the children will only ever sign off using their initials, and if you wish to direct your comment to a particular child we ask that you address them in the same way.

Also note that all comments to the blog must first be approved, and may be edited very slightly if need be – mainly for reasons of Internet Safety. I will do this as often as I can, but mainly in the evenings so I appreciate your patience!

We hope you enjoy our blog!

Mr. Ross, the rest of the staff team, and all of the children. 😀🇮🇹
